Sheldon Brown of Harris Cyclery was a good honest and pioneering cyclist, we are all sad and upset by his recent passing and kind words would be appreciated and keep his name and mission alive

In the early years we called him often for advise and counsel and he never once complained that we were a competitor. He was always gracious and free giving of his advise and concern. We owe him much.

I came accross sheldon when building up a single speed out of a 10 speed cast off. His website was invaluable and he was very quick to respond to my questions. I was very sad to see that he had passed,however what a legacy the man has left! People loved him for his humanity as much as his vast knowledge of all things bikes. Thanks Mr. Brown
